Our trouble began when I took a side road down the mountain and got my car stuck in the snow. Having no other options, christian book distributors hoofed it up the mountain to a motel where we used a pay phone to call for help. The motel attendant recognized us as the runaways he had heard about on the police scanner and called the police. Before we could get back to our car, blue lights appeared. We were cuffed and stuffed in the local jail until our parents arrived.
